- Mix flour, salt, spices, and herbs in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Heat oil in a large skillet on medium-high heat. Add beef; cook and stir for 3 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Stir flour mixture and water into the skillet until well blended and smooth. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and simmer for 5 minutes or until the sauce is thickened. Remove from heat. Stir in sour cream. Serve over hot-cooked noodles, if desired.
